Like all material that is not made with solid gold, your treasures will eventually tarnish with time. We all want our favorite pieces to last forever, but let's be real, the only way that will happen is by buying solid gold.

At Juno Valentina, we care a lot about quality. The materials and the gold plating we use are of the highest quality on the market. Our stainless steel pieces especially are very durable against tarnish and fading. Many of our customers can wear our jewelry for 2 years before any significant colour change starts to show (different base metals will vary).

Juno Valentina, however, can not guarantee any time limit for how long an item will last, as it's really up to each individual and it depends on how you care for it. Gold plated in general simply means that there is a thin layer of real gold on top of the base material used; in theory, it's similar to costume jewelry, however the lite length on gold plated jewelry is much longer than costume jewelry you buy from most retail stores.

The rate may vary depending on the amount of exposure to hot weather, water and your body's chemistry: how acidic it is and how much you sweat etc.
Finally, your treasures will last longer if kept away from water, humid weather conditions and by not laying in direct sunlight for several hours.
